I went to Astermedcity for 16 days of cervical arthrisis and pain in shoulder and arm. But I have got before a BPPV and I did not do the Espley manoeuvre to be cured (the doctor did not realize it was BPPV) I went to a ENT doctor in that hospital. Neuro surgeons came also and a psychiatric. She stayed ONE minute. They have given Clonazepam 0,5 mg (20 days) and Escitalopram 5 mg (2months). They said your BPPV has become now PPPD! (so they gave SSRI) I didnot want these tablets and I take Ayurvedic tablets also (Rheumacalm, Maharajaprasarini, Manasamithram and Dhanawantharam mixed to sleep). I am lost. I wanted to stop the allopathic tablets. I just divided the quantity by 2; mistake, i took the complement quickly because i was not well at all. Now I have found the Dr Ashton system on internet and I decrease little by little, first the clonazepam (i think) and after escitalopram. I met in Auroville (i am living in Pondi) a Physiotherapist for my ENT problem. He gave manoeuvre to do for the inner ears (vestibular rehabilitation). The doctors of Pondi don’t know what is PPPD!
