2. Gelatin Products – Products that contain gelatin contain vast amounts of Arginine.
3. Soy Protein Isolate – If a product contains soy protein, it also contains Arginine.
4. Crustaceans – A huge variety of crustaceans, such as shrimp and lobster contain Arginine.
5. Spinach – If you need Arginine in your diet, you need to eat your spinach!
6. Turkey – All turkey meat contains Arginine, but it seems that different parts of the bird contain different amounts. The breasts have the most Arginine.
7. Game Meat – Most game meat, such as deer and elk, contain Arginine.
8. Ostrich – The inside portion of the leg is the best source of Arginine.
9. Various Fish – Arginine can be found in a wide variety of fish, including orange fish and roughy.
10. Chicken – Like turkey, the greatest amounts of Arginine are found in the breast of the chicken.
Are There Any Dangers Associated with Arginine?
There are two dangers associated with Arginine – you may either get too much of it, or not enough of it. Side effects of too much Arginine include watery diarrhea, headaches, and stomach cramps. If you have herpes or another viral infection, Arginine can actually agitate the condition. Some doctors advise against the use of Arginine supplements for patients who have liver or kidney disease.
If you have any health condition, you should always check with your doctor before taking any supplements, or making changes to your diet. This is true for Arginine as well, regardless of the fact that the body naturally produces it.

Food as Medicine

Why not an essential amino acid arginine, which can not be
The subject of much intense research by conventional medicine, nutritional therapists and sports scientists for at least fifty years, arginine is now regarded as one of the most amino acids important and potentially beneficial. Technically known as a “non-essential” amino acids, but the term in this sense only means that can be manufactured in the body and therefore not need to be obtained through diet.
“Non essential” in no way implies that these acids Amino acids are important. In short, you need the full range of essential and nonessential amino acids to form numerous proteins whose body is largely done. Increasingly, however, it is demonstrated that individual amino acids may have specific functions, with increasing interest in the possibility using a single amino acid supplements acid to special conditions.
Arginine, for example, has been credited with helping the body to produce hormones essential, particularly human growth hormone to improve sexual health and function, while increasing muscle mass, reducing body fat, lower cholesterol, stimulate the immune system and enhance immune system responses.
However, perhaps the most important benefit potential of arginine is its effect on the cardiovascular system health. There is research evidence that doses of 6 grams or more per day may help reduce low density lipid (LDL) cholesterol “bad”, and arginine, can also greatly improve circulation.
Arginine is also an important precursor of nitric oxide, a large issuer of nerve impulses, neurons, and a compound known to help maintain circulation in small blood vessels in the brain, protection against debilitating and potentially fatal stroke. For the immune system, arginine acts as a stimulant for the thymus gland, helping to generate immune cells crucial to fight against infection.
There is also good research to suggest that arginine may have a “shadow effect proteins, making available the maximum amount protein for muscle growth. This was considered very useful in treating those who, like the elderly, who suffered a loss of muscle mass and weakness. But when combined with an obvious potential arginine as a fat burner and stimulating the production of human growth hormone, its obvious potential as a sports performance supplement, especially for the athletes strength and power, and the body builders was of course the cause of much excitement in these communities. Arginine is also an important precursor for the manufacture of creatine for the body, known as “Natural steroid” to his strength and power.
U.S. Food and Nutrition Board has not prescribed a recommended food allowance (RDA) for arginine, probably adherence to the traditional view that a diet rich in protein, almost by definition provide sufficient amino acids. It is true that outright deficiencies of arginine are rarely seen in people whose diet contains sufficient protein, which means that most of us in rich West. It is also true that the requirements for arginine and other amino acids Individual vary greatly between individuals, so that the establishment of a major GDR even harder than usual. However, a good source arginine in the diet dairy products and meat, especially beef, pork, chicken and turkey. Wheat germ, cereals, nuts, fruits sea and even chocolate may also help to encourage the use of arginine. An increase in the consumption of one of them, especially animal protein, too, of course, increase the intake of arginine, and a normal diet, including amounts of these foods are generally prevent deficiencies.
This does not necessarily mean, however, be sufficient to provide the greatest therapeutic benefits of arginine, so that most professionals are free form supplements are needed in quantities of at least several grams per day, preferably on an empty stomach. Although it is argued that the maximum nomally arginine benefits are obtained when taken alone, an exception is to try to stimulate the system immune when it seems that taking arginine with lysine, another amino acid, can greatly improve their impact.
Like other amino acids, Arginine supplementation is generally very safe and without negative side effects, which does not produce relatively minor stomach upset can be met even several times the recommended therapeutic dose. However, important exceptions are pregnant women and new mothers, People with herpes infections and the like, and suffer from liver or kidney. If arginine is taken in absolute terms these groups, only be a doctor.
In all cases, the individual amino acid supplementation is always the risk of creating biochemical imbalances in the body and should not be done indefinitely without qualified supervision. Bodybuilders and athletes strength and power can, for example, find it profitable to use of arginine in the “increase their” phase of the training cycle, after the return to a more balanced supplementation.
Another caveat is that, as well as benefits, nitric oxide produced by arginine is also an aging potentially harmful free radicals and the effects degenerative cells in the body. This action does not eliminate the oxidative potential benefits of taking arginine, but this means that any program Supplementation should be combined with a good range of antioxidants, including coenzyme Q10 and lipoic acid. And for best results which must always be taken with complete multi-vitamin supplements and multi-minerals.

Arginine (abbreviated as Arg or R)is an α-amino acid.
The L-form is one of the 20 most common natural amino acids.
At the level of molecular genetics, in the structure of the messenger ribonucleic acid mRNA, CGU, CGC, CGA, CGG, AGA, and AGG, are the triplets of nucleotide bases or codons that codify for arginine during protein synthesis.
In mammals, arginine is classified as a semiessential or conditionally essential amino acid, depending on the developmental stage and health status of the individual.
Preterm infants are unable to synthesize or create arginine internally, making the amino acid nutritionally essential for them. There are some conditions that put an increased demand on the body for the synthesis of L-arginine, including surgical or other trauma, sepsis and burns.
Arginine was first isolated from a lupin seedling extract in 1886 by the Swiss chemist Ernst Schultze.
In general, most people do not need to take arginine supplements because the body usually produces enough.

Structure
The amino acid side chain of arginine consists of a 3-carbon aliphatic straight chain, the distal end of which is capped by a complex guanidinium group. With a pKa of 12.48, the guanidinium group is positively charged in neutral, acidic and even most basic environments, and thus imparts basic chemical properties to arginine. Because of the conjugation between the double bond and the nitrogen lone pairs, the positive charge is delocalized, enabling the formation of multiple H-bonds.

Sources of Arginine :
Dietary sources
Arginine is a conditionally nonessential amino acid, meaning most of the time it can be manufactured by the human body, and does not need to be obtained directly through the diet. The biosynthetic pathway however does not produce sufficient arginine, and some must still be consumed through diet. Individuals who have poor nutrition or certain physical conditions may be advised to increase their intake of foods containing arginine. Arginine is found in a wide variety of foods, including[5]:
Animal sources
dairy products (e.g. cottage cheese, ricotta, milk, yogurt, whey protein drinks), beef, pork (e.g. bacon, ham), gelatin , poultry (e.g. chicken and turkey light meat), wild game (e.g. pheasant, quail), seafood (e.g. halibut, lobster, salmon, shrimp, snails, tuna)
Plant sources
wheat germ and flour, buckwheat, granola, oatmeal, peanuts, nuts (coconut, pecans, cashews, walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pinenuts), seeds (pumpkin, sesame, sunflower), chick peas, cooked soybeans, Phalaris canariensis (canaryseed or ALPISTE)
Biosynthesis
Arginine is synthesized from citrulline by the sequential action of the cytosolic enzymes argininosuccinate synthetase (ASS) and argininosuccinate lyase (ASL). This is energetically costly, as the synthesis of each molecule of argininosuccinate requires hydrolysis of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) to adenosine monophosphate (AMP); i.e., two ATP equivalents.
Citrulline can be derived from multiple sources:
from arginine via nitric oxide synthase (NOS)
from ornithine via catabolism of proline or glutamine/glutamate
from asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) via DDAH
The pathways linking arginine, glutamine, and proline are bidirectional. Thus, the net utilization or production of these amino acids is highly dependent on cell type and developmental stage.
On a whole-body basis, synthesis of arginine occurs principally via the intestinal–renal axis, wherein epithelial cells of the small intestine, which produce citrulline primarily from glutamine and glutamate, collaborate with the proximal tubule cells of the kidney, which extract citrulline from the circulation and convert it to arginine, which is returned to the circulation. Consequently, impairment of small bowel or renal function can reduce endogenous arginine synthesis, thereby increasing the dietary requirement.
Synthesis of arginine from citrulline also occurs at a low level in many other cells, and cellular capacity for arginine synthesis can be markedly increased under circumstances that also induce iNOS. Thus, citrulline, a coproduct of the NOS-catalyzed reaction, can be recycled to arginine in a pathway known as the citrulline-NO or arginine-citrulline pathway. This is demonstrated by the fact that in many cell types, citrulline can substitute for arginine to some degree in supporting NO synthesis. However, recycling is not quantitative because citrulline accumulates along with nitrate and nitrite, the stable end-products of NO, in NO-producing cells

Function of Arginine
Arginine plays an important role in cell division, the healing of wounds, removing ammonia from the body, immune function, and the release of hormones.
Arginine taken in combination with proanthocyanidins or yohimbine, has also been used as a treatment for erectile dysfunction.
The benefits and functions attributed to oral supplementation of L-arginine include:
Precursor for the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO)
Reduces healing time of injuries (particularly bone)
Quickens repair time of damaged tissue
Helps decrease blood pressure
Proteins
The distributing basics of the moderate structure found in geometry, charge distribution and ability to form multiple H-bonds make arginine ideal for binding negatively charged groups. For this reason, arginine prefers to be on the outside of the proteins where it can interact with the polar environment.
Incorporated in proteins, arginine can also be converted to citrulline by PAD enzymes. In addition, arginine can be methylated by protein methyltransferases.
Precursor
Arginine is the immediate precursor of NO, urea, ornithine and agmatine; is necessary for the synthesis of creatine; and can also be used for the synthesis of polyamines (mainly through ornithine and to a lesser degree through agmatine), citrulline, and glutamate. As a precursor of nitric oxide, arginine may have a role in the treatment of some conditions where vasodilation is required. The presence of asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA), a close relative, inhibits the nitric oxide reaction; therefore, ADMA is considered a marker for vascular disease, just as L-arginine is considered a sign of a healthy endothelium.
Treatment of dentin hypersensitivity
Arginine (8%) in dental products (e.g. toothpaste) provides effective relief from sensitive teeth by depositing a dentin-like mineral, containing calcium and phosphate, within the dentin tubules and in a protective layer on the dentin surface.
Treatment of herpes simplex virus
An unproven claim is that a low ratio of arginine to lysine may be of benefit in the treatment of herpes simplex virus. For more information, refer to Herpes – Treatment also see journal article.
Possible increased risk of death after supplementation following heart attack
A clinical trial found that patients taking an L-arginine supplement following a heart attack found no change in the heart’s vascular tone or decrease in the symptoms of congestive heart failure (the hearts’ ability to pump). In fact, six more patients who were taking L-arginine died than those taking a placebo resulting in early termination of the study with the recommendation that the supplement not be used by heart attack patients.Despite these findings, the supplement is still widely marketed as beneficial for the heart.
Potential medical uses
Lung inflammation and asthma
The Mayo Clinic web page on L-arginine reports that inhalation of L-arginine can increase lung inflammation and worsen asthma
Growth hormone
Arginine may stimulate the secretion of growth hormone, and is used in growth hormone stimulation tests.
MELAS syndrome
Several trials delved into effects of L-arginine in MELAS syndrome, a mitochondrial disease.
Sepsis
Cellular arginine biosynthetic capacity determined by activity of argininosuccinate synthetase (AS) is induced by the same mediators of septic response—endotoxin and cytokines—that induce nitric oxide synthase (NOS), the enzyme responsible for nitric oxide synthesis.
Malate salt
The malate salt of arginine can also be used during the treatment of alcoholic hepatitis and advanced cirrhosis.
Pre-eclampsia
A preliminary study of supplementation with L-arginine and antioxidant vitamins showed that this combination may help to combat abnormally high blood pressure during high risk pregnancies.

Possibly effective for…
Improving recovery after surgery. Taking L-arginine with ribonucleic acid (RNA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) before surgery or afterwards seems to help reduce the recovery time, reduce the number of infections, and improve wound healing after surgery.
Congestive heart failure. Taking L-arginine along with usual treatment seems to help eliminate extra fluids that are a problem in congestive heart failure. But taking L-arginine doesn’t always improve exercise tolerance or quality of life. L-arginine should not be used instead of the usual treatments ordered by a healthcare provider.
Chest pain associated with coronary artery disease (angina pectoris). Taking L-arginine seems to decrease symptoms and improve exercise tolerance and quality of life in people with angina. But L-arginine doesn’t seem to improve the disease itself.
Bladder inflammation. Taking L-arginine seems to improve symptoms, but it may take up to three months of treatment to see improvement.
Wasting and weight loss in people with HIV/AIDS, when used with hydroxymethylbutyrate (HMB) and glutamine. This combination seems to increase body weight, particularly lean body mass, and improve the immune system.
Preventing loss of effect of nitroglycerin in people with angina pectoris.
Problems with erections of the penis (erectile dysfunction).
Improving kidney function in kidney transplant patients taking cyclosporine.
Preventing inflammation of the digestive tract in premature infants.
Cramping pain and weakness in the legs associated with blocked arteries (intermittent claudication).
Possibly ineffective for…
Heart attack. Taking L-arginine does not seem to help prevent a heart attack. It also doesn’t seem to be beneficial for treating a heart attack after it has occurred. In fact, there is concern that L-arginine might be harmful for people after a recent heart attack. Don’t take L-arginine if you have had a recent heart attack.
Pre-eclampsia, an increase in blood pressure during pregnancy. Taking L-arginine doesn’t seem to lower diastolic blood pressure (the second number) in women with pre-eclampsia in their 28th to 36th week of pregnancy.
Insufficient evidence to rate effectiveness for…
Migraine headache. Taking L-arginine by mouth along with the painkiller ibuprofen seems to be effective for treating migraine headache. This combination sometimes starts to work within 30 minutes. But it’s hard to know how much of the pain relief is due to L-arginine, since ibuprofen can relieve migraine pain on its own.
Decreased mental function in the elderly (senile dementia). Limited research suggests that L-arginine might improve senile dementia.
Improving healing of diabetic foot ulcers. There is interest in using L-arginine for preventing diabetic foot ulcers. Applying L-arginine to the feet seems to improve circulation in people with diabetes, which might be helpful in preventing ulcers. But if there is already an ulcer on the foot, injecting L-arginine under the skin near the ulcer doesn’t seem to shorten healing time by much or lower the chance of needing an amputation in the future.
High blood pressure. There is some evidence that taking L-arginine can slightly lower blood pressure in healthy people and in people with type 2 diabetes who have mild high blood pressure.
Male infertility.
Prevention of the common cold.
Improving athletic performance.
Breast cancer when used in combination with chemotherapy.
Wound healing.
Female sexual problems.
Sickle cell disease.
Improving the immune system in people with head and neck cancer.

Detoxify the body of drugs

detoxify -mind & Soul

Detoxify the body of drugs

A person who receives a diagnosis of cancer can, in fact, treat their disease course of cancer has received. It ‘a very difficult concept for many people to understand. However, it is a very simple concept. Diet and lifestyle is the cause of the disease. Consequently, a significant change in diet and lifestyle, to heal what the disease. Before the object and click on the page, I recommend to open your mind and reading.

According to Stanley Burroughs, author of the Master CleanseDiet-Detoxify the body of drugs, there is only one disease. This disease is a blood poisoning, which is an overload of toxins in the body. If a body overloaded with toxins such as processed food detoxify the body of drugs, the overhead of feces in the colon, and prescriptions drugs without prescription, stress, physical inactivity and lack of water, the body is certainly sick.

Understand our Anatomy

The disease is different for each person and is manifested as a disease different in each case. But even if the name of the disease mayotherwise cause the body to be sick, and the deterioration is due to a single cause, a highly toxic organism. Once the toxins are degraded in the body, the body is brought into balance. The disease can not survive in a body that is in equilibrium.

The first part of recovery is detoxification. The best way to begin the process of detoxification is to change your diet. Many patients begin to make changes in diet, but these changes are difficult. This is very understandable. UsAn old proverb says that “it is difficult to develop a scheme to change the religion to change Mans.” I think this is very true.

There are memories that relate to food. It connects us with our culture, we met with people who love to celebrate special occasions and holidays with food and food that fills us emotionally. The concept of regime change is very difficult to make many. Many people literally in the face of deathmake drastic changes in their diet.

to live longer in Best Health

Unfortunately, we live in a time when many of their doctors and traditional schools before making natural alternatives. Today, millions of people, unfortunately, does not believe in natural healing ability of the body, the opportunity. We want the doctors of the medical profession in high esteem. We are afraid to even ask the doctors when they say something that sounds a bit ‘strange for us.

Not only are we afraid to question doctors, but do not want the initial discomfort associated with the experience of detoxification. However, the process of detoxification of the body is essential if we want our body to restore its balance. Again, the disease can not survive if it is balance.

We have to know the natural cure of cancer. Yes, you can free the body from cancer, without drugs or surgery, but should be armed with good knowledge. This article will guide you in the right direction.

Simple tips to detoxify your body

get celebrative

If you have been feeling sluggish and out of energy, or are having skin problems, aches and pains, or digestive problems, it might be time to detoxify your body. Detoxification, cleansing and nourishing your body from the inside out, can help to protect you from disease and increase your ability to maintain optimum health. You can start with the following simple tips and integrate them into your daily lifestyle to experience amazing changes in your life.

Detox Diet
If you would like to give your body a fresh start within five to seven days, “eating clean” is the most effective way to detoxify your body. By taking in more pure foods and less toxic ones, you will get terrific results.
Tip 1: Start your day with a large glass of warm lemon water.
Energize yourself in the morning by drinking a glass of warm water with a fresh slice of lemon before brushing your teeth and eating breakfast (if fresh lemon is unavailable, try a dried lemon slice). Lemon water is a wonderful stimulant to the liver, facilitates the elimination of waste products through the kidneys, and promotes the digestive system, and blood circulation. If taking vitamins is part of your daily routine, take them with lemon water. Doing so will promote the absorption of the supplements and allow for smoother functioning of your body.

growing is that matters...

Tip 2: Avoid foods that generate toxins.
Your liver is the built-in detoxification center in your body. Therefore lightening the toxic load put into the liver is vital for effective detoxification. For that purpose, control the intake of meat, salt, and sugars such as high fructose corn syrup, additives, preservatives, saturated fats, alcohol, and fried foods. Hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils are especially dangerous to good health.

Tip 3: Eat foods that energize the cleansing enzymes.
It is beneficial to make long grain rice a staple food in your diet. It contains protein, is very digestible, is high in starch content, and is powerful in purifying the digestive system, and cleansing the liver. Feel free to enjoy vegetables and fruits since they all act to rid the body of toxins. Kiwi fruit, oranges, grapes, pineapple, cucumber, spinach, cabbage and celery are highly recommended.
However make yourself aware of the various pesticides and fertilizers that may be used on the produce you buy. Certain countries allow growers to use chemicals that are known to cause health issues. During the first two days of your detox diet program, you may suffer from a headache or fatigue, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. It indicates that the liver is working hard to eliminate toxins from the body.
Exersisising Smart: Practice Detoxifying Movements
Doing exercise is an effective way to cleanse the body.
Tip 1: Walk for at least 30 minutes every day. Also try some gentle exercises such as vigorous stretching or tai chi.
Tip 2: Practice deep breathing to allow oxygen to circulate more completely through your system. One method is to lie on your back, breathe in through your nose, hold your breath, which will allow oxygen to go through the belly, and then slowly breathe out through the nose.
Tip 3: Sweat in a sauna, and then take a cold shower afterward for 10 to 15 minutes. This will help eliminate wastes through perspiration and also promote blood circulation.
Tip 4: Drink plenty of fluids after exercising. Green tea is acceptable, however carbonated drinks are forbidden. Sport beverages and energy drinks are not recommended as they can contain high amounts of sugar and are not natural foods.
As always consult your physician before starting any diet or exercise program.

Embryonic stem cells used on patient for first time

Embryonic stem cells used on patient for first time
For the first time, surgeons have injected a spinal cord injury patient with human embryonic stem cells in a federally approved experiment, a biomedical firm said Monday.

Food and Drug Administration officials approved the start of the privately funded safety trial in July, allowing a long-awaited test of the cells, which were grown from a single embryo to resemble forerunners to spinal cells. The unnamed patient received the cells at the Shepherd Center, an Atlanta hospital specializing in brain, spine and related ailments.

Human embryonic stem cells are precursors to all human tissues. Researchers first grew them from embryos in 1998. Medical researchers have since looked to the cells to study organ development, test drugs and, now in the clinical trial, grow rejection-free replacement organs.

“Many predicted that it would be a number of decades before a cell therapy would be approved for human clinical trials,” according to a statement by Thomas Okarma of the experiment’s sponsor, Geron Corp. of Menlo Park, Calif. He called the start of the trial at Shepherd and six other facilities “a milestone” for the long-contentious field of human embryonic stem cell research.

In the safety trial, patients will receive injections of about 2 million cells grown specifically to resemble precursors to spinal cord cells, within 7 to 14 days of injuries to their middle back, or thoracic vertebrae. In theory, the cells should grow into spinal tissues, helping to repair the injury. The immune system of the patients will be suppressed by drugs for months to help prevent rejection.

“I would say this is akin to an organ transplantation,” says stem cell researcher Allison Ebert of the University of Wisconsin, who was not part of the study. “This is just a study for safety to see how these cells respond to the human spinal cord. But it is a logical step, one of many in the pipeline.”

The Shepherd Center could not provide details of the patient or allow interviews with physicians out of medical privacy concerns, spokeswoman Jane Sanders said.

Geron’s Okarma has maintained that the spinal precursor cells used in the study show a broad ability not to antagonize the immune system. But the FDA held up approval of the clinical trial for months, requesting extra animal safety studies and added steps for patient protection, primarily out of fears that the injected cells would grow into tumors or trigger extra pain.

“Even if this trial turns out to be negative, these data will be useful …making it an important first step,” Ebert says.

Despite the hopes of medical advocates, research using human embryonic stem cells has been highly controversial, because the cells are grown from ones taken from the destruction of 5- to 6-day-old human embryos. Citing moral qualms in a 2001 announcement, then-president George W. Bush limited federal funding of research using human embryonic stem cells to 21 already-created stem cell colonies, or lines.
President Obama reversed that policy last year, leading to the FDA approval of the clinical trial and 76 lines receiving the go-ahead for federal research funding.

Asthma care 2

Honey is considered highly beneficial in the treatment of asthma. At the time of asthma attack a jug full of honey should be placed under the nose of patient, within few minutes the patient would start breathing easily. One can also mix 1 teaspoon honey in a glass of water and have it 3 times a day. This is very good home remedy for asthma.

The patient should be given garlic cloves boiled in thirty grams of milk daily. Good Home Remedy for asthma.

Steaming ginger tea with minced garlic cloves should be given twice a day (morning and evening). This asthma remedy is good natural remedy for asthma.

A teaspoonful of turmeric powder with a glass of milk 2-3 times a day is recommended. It is highly beneficial when taken empty stomach. This remedy is also considered as good home remedies for asthma.

During the attack mustard oil mixed with little camphor should be massaged over the back of the chest. Effective Home Remedy for asthma

The patient should also be made to inhale steam from boiling water mixed with ajwain (caraway seeds). This is one of the simplest asthma treatment.

Asthma Natural Cure – 1

Ayurveda approach

According to Ayurveda, increased in kapha dosha in the stomach is the underlying cause of asthma. From the stomach, the increased kapha blocks the flow of natural air, creating spasm in the bronchial tree, hence it progresses to the lungs, trachea and bronchi. This results wheezing in asthma.

To treat asthma the Ayurveda way, the kapha lodged in the lungs and bronchi, need to return to the stomach where it will be eliminated. Asthma is usually brought on by allergies and no matter what is the cause, it is important to relive the person from difficulty in breathing and asthmatic wheezing during an attack.

Stop the Wheezing
This licorice tea can be prepared as soon as you begin to feel an asthmatic attack is coming. Symptoms include tightness in chest, some difficulty in breathing or other symptoms you recognize from experiences. When you have prepared the tea, the effect can last for about 72 hours and does not lose its effectiveness.

You need:
5 – 1- drops of mahanarayan oil or ½ teaspoon plain ghee
1 teaspoon of licorice root (yashti madhu)

Boil the root in a cup of water for a few minutes. When you are about to drink the tea, add the ghee or the mahanarayan oil. Sip the tea every 5 to 10 minutes.

In some cases, the tea may induce nausea and vomiting, and this is beneficial for it eliminates kapha from the stomach and relieves the spasm from the lungs and bronchial tubes. The person will feel a lot better after this.
