Nileshwaram or Nileshwar (Malayalam: നീലേശ്വരം) is a municipality and a town in Kasaragod District of Kerala state, South India. Also spell it as Nileswaram. It is one of the three municipalities of Kasaragod district, the other two being Kasaragod and Kanhangad. Nileshwar is the third major town in kasargod district. Nileshwar is the cultural capital town of kasargod district. Nileshwaram lies between two rivers, Nileshwaram puzha and Karyangodu puzha. To the west is the Arabian Sea.
