Nurturing Our Sankalpa Shakti, the sacred Intention
Every prayer must manifest our Sankalpa Shakti in the presence of the moment.
A true Yogic awakening flows with divine grace when we remind ourselves every morning of our daily Sankalpa!

The soft hues of dawn ushers in a surreal silence where we can tap into our deeper self, experiencing the subtle vibrations and sensations which permeate the body, mind, heart and spirit. Yogic Awakening must unfold gentle meditative moments to assuage the flow of our thoughts and sensations reminding ourselves of the need for nurturing our higher being, the soul stirrings of which are in the presence of every moment.

Awakening to a deeper awareness of the breath stirs the soul into this presence of body, mind and heart. Maha Prana is the essence of Shiva and Shakti, the masculine and feminine energies as the flow of Pranic grace. In Yogic parlance we must cultivate the deeper breath of harmony, love and nurturing.

We must heal and calm the Prana before moving into our nightly sleep modes. The deep calm Prana salutes our divinity!
Last thing at night we need to spend some quiet moments in contemplation – how much of our Sankalpa have we allowed to manifest through the presence of every moment…..

Sankalpa is not about punishing ourselves through rigid thoughts and practices. We must formalise a vision or Sankalpa with a positive intention rooted in the presence of every moment beginning with our conscious breath and acknowledging that pure Love is our deeper nature which nurtures our true essence.

The core of every sankalpa is nurturing, and a calm mind helps manifest the sankalpa at a deeper level. Reinforcing the sankalpa as divine grace allows it to manifest in our lives as Shakti.

The positive mind-set formalising the Sankalpa from a meditative, calm and sthira space helps to stir positive vibrations that set the Sankalpa into motion. A peaceful heart nurtured through awareness and clarity is the best place to sow the seed of our sankalpa and to resonate with its sacred intention through the spoken word or mantric Shakti force.
Shakti Sankalpa is the sacred Intention which aspires for higher goals in our lives, manifesting our deeper resolution, determination, tenacity, persistence and perseverance in achieving and fulfilling our dharma.

The Effects Of Fear On The Physical Body

The human being is psychosomatic by nature – what that means is that our health is deeply influenced by our behavior, thoughts, emotions and social relationships.

Therefore, in order to experience good health, we should care for our life style, our mental, sentimental, emotional and relational world, as well as our communication.

fear

fear

Fear is bad for our health. It manifests itself in the form of anger and promotes coronary diseases. Fear suppressed for a long time ends up producing diseases such as cancer. Apart from cancer and heart attacks, there are other illnesses brought on by fear: addictions, anxiety, arthritis, asthma, irritability, nervous breakdowns, memory loss, gastritis, back pains, baldness, diarrhea, sciatica, crying attacks, alcoholism, constipation, hypertension, cystitis (bladder inflammation), vomiting, palpitations, digestive disorders, ulcers and migraines.

When we get old, our neurons do not die, but rather the connections between them disappear, that is what recent scientific research suggests. The neuronal connections or synapses keep us lively and young. When we have pleasant experiences, such as during meditation or when we are on a holiday or are surrounded by friends or while working in a team, some examples of activities in which we feel happy, the neuronal connections are more fluid. However, the lights go out when we feel fear. It is an emotion that is capable of slowing down and blocking the electrical impulses between the neurons.

With fear we are less creative and we get older more quickly. If we do not want to suffer illnesses (or want our illnesses to get worse) we should learn to manage and overcome fear.

Natural Qualities and Acquired Qualities

When we look at ourselves from outside we can only see the surface of what we have become. We can’t see or perhaps cannot even imagine the inner core (center), which, like in the example of the coconut, is the only part that really can nourish us and give us energy. The shell (in the case of the coconut) serves as a protection but we certainly can’t eat it.

In our case, the core (center) consists of natural or inner qualities such as peace, love, power, truth, happiness and so on. The shell is the ego which consists of features or personality characteristics we have acquired through the journey of our lives such as experiences, abilities, memories, learning, habits and beliefs – in short, all that we are referring to when we say: ‘I am so-and-so, from such-and-such family or organization or city’.

While we are limited to these acquired characteristics, our true qualities remain inaccessible. Through deep reflection and meditation we can break the shell and activate our inner qualities from which our values or principles are born.

We all came empty handed, we all have to leave empty handed only. This GOD gifted beautiful life is short but precious, so please don’t waste it… live it, live it and live it FULLY.
