2015 ജൂലൈ 14 രാവിലെ 5.30 വ്യാഴം കർക്കടകരാശിയിൽനിന്നും ചിങ്ങം രാശിയിലേക്ക് സംക്രമിക്കുകയാണ്. 2016 ആഗസ്റ്റ് 16 വരെ വ്യാഴം ചിങ്ങം രാശിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും. ഈ വർഷം വ്യാഴത്തിന് ചില പ്രത്യേകതകളുണ്ട്. ഒന്നാമതായി ചിങ്ങത്തിലെ വ്യാഴത്തിന് പൊതുവിൽ ബലക്കുറവാണ് എന്നാണ് പ്രമാണം. അതിലുപരി വൃശ്ചികം രാശിയിൽ നിൽക്കുന്ന ശനി ബലവാനായി വ്യാഴത്തെ ദൃഷ്ടി ചെയ്യുന്നു. കൂടാതെ 2016 ജനുവരി 29-ാം തീയതി രാഹു രാശി സംക്രമണം നടത്തി ചിങ്ങത്തിലേക്ക് കടക്കും. അപ്പോൾ ശനി രാഹുവിനേയും വ്യാഴത്തേയും ഒരുമിച്ചു നോക്കും.

An annular solar eclipse will take place on May 9 – 10 (UTC), 2013, with a magnitude of 0.9544. A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun , thereby totally or partially obscuring the image of the Sun for a viewer on Earth. An annular solar eclipse occurs when the Moon’s apparent diameter is smaller than the Sun, causing the Sun to look like an annulus (ring), blocking most of the Sun’s light.
